As the story goes, Boy finally asks Girl out. Boy drives in circles to find a restaurant that isn't packed. Boy and Girl walk around till Chili's can seat us. Girl drops her silverware and just brushes it off. Boy knows at that point that she is the one that he wants to spend his life with. Boy and Girl fall more in love with each other every day. Boy finds the perfect moment and proposes. Boy cries while getting on one knee, and Girl cries along with him and says yes. Yes, the typical love story.
Update 12-3-08
It has been a while since the page has been updated, but a lot
of things have been going on. We got our flowers, we got our DJ,
and we got our photographer. So all is basically complete, now we
just got to start working on our invitations, and for Chris to get
cracking on the guy's tuxes. Suggestions have been made to just
go with the tuxedo shirt, but we are going to have to pass at this time
on that. We also booked our honeymoon at Disneyworld, so we are
jazzed about that also. Less then 6 months to go!!!!!
Update 7-21-08
So Candice bought her dress!!!! She says that is absolutely beautiful, and Chris cannot wait to see her in it. Now it is Chris' turn to go tux shopping, and hopefully he won't get a monocle to go along with his tux, hat, gloves and cane...Candice refuses to marry Mr. Peanut.
We are planning a get together shortly, more information shall come soon.
We saw The Dark Knight this past weekend, and if you haven't seen it yet, you should ASAP!
Update 7-13-08
We met up with the owner of the Pyramids yesterday, and we were amazed by how beautiful it looked. Candice has been there before for her sister Corrin's wedding, and it was the first time Chris stepped foot in there. We gave the owner the current colors of Berry and Sugar Plum, and she gave us some really good ideas to go with.
Chris is finally doing something he thought he would never do, which is get an allergy shot, because he is really afraid of needles.
And on a movie note...DO NOT RENT "THE BRAVE ONE"!!!! unless you have insomnia, then go for it!
Update 7-11-08
Yes, it has been a while since we put in an update, but we have had a lot going on. We got the bedroom furniture, and well, you will have to come over and take a look at it. Rick bought us backporch furniture and it really goes well with the deck.
Tomorrow we are going to the Pyramids' to check out the place. They are having a wedding reception there tomorrow night and we have been invited to check the place out before hand.
We had our first addition to our lil family, Julius Laverne Mishler, a cute little hermit crab, but alas, Julius is no longer with us. A private ceremony was held in the back yard.
In wedding news, we should be getting our honeymoon information from Disney next week.
Candice went dress shopping with her mom and sister, and thinks she found the perfect dress. Chris wants to know nothing about it (bad luck), but is happy that Candice found it, because she lights up when she tells people that she thinks she found it.
Right now, we are planning on taking a beach vacation the first week of September, we both extremely need it!
Update 5-29-08
Less then a year to go!!! Plans are starting to pick up again. We are currently looking at Purple and Silver as our wedding colors. Along with that, we are starting to pre-plan our wedding registry.
And in other news, our living room furniture is in. It is totally comfy, and pictures will be coming along shortly. After the bedroom furniture comes in, and after the basement starts to come together, we are going to put some house pictures up incase you have not made a tour of our lovely home yet.
Update 5-12-08:
So Candice is all moved in, and totally loving the new house. Lots of people have come over for an open house. If you haven't been over yet...what is stopping you, just give a call and come on over :) We made our first major purchase together, which is a new couch, loveseat and ottoman set. It should be delievered in the next 2 weeks, so we are both really excited for that. We are looking forward to have a few more cookouts this summer on the backporch, so come hungry!!!!
